Overview
With the passage of time, traditional festive days have undergone changes. However, many still reminisce about the memories of days gone by. Drawing inspiration from the classic architecture of 19th-century Saigon, Bracom and Hotel Des Arts Saigon have crafted the 2023 Mid-Autumn gift set, aiming to convey stories rich in historical and cultural aesthetic values.
The Concept
Inspired by the architectural and cultural heritage of 19th-century Saigon, the concept celebrates the timeless beauty of a city shaped by history, art, and craftsmanship. Adopting the perspective of a traveler wandering along the alleys of old Saigon, the design revisits iconic City Theater, inviting recipients on a journey through time. More than a Mid-Autumn gift, the collection serves as a tribute to the city’s cultural legacy, preserving stories, aesthetic values, and inspirations that continue to influence contemporary life.
The Design
At the heart of the design is the City Theater, one of the city's most iconic landmarks, surrounded by decorative motifs inspired by Art Deco details and French elegant architecture. The composition extends along the historic streetscape, incorporating lush trees and the Continental Hotel to recreate the atmosphere of old Saigon. A refined palette of deep blue and gold evokes the elegance of Indochine aesthetics, while silver foil stamping and embossing techniques enhance depth, texture, and craftsmanship. Together, these elements transform the packaging into a collectible artwork that captures the romance, sophistication, and enduring charm of Saigon’s architectural heritage.

Through this artwork, we intend to show our gratitude and contribute to the preservation of aesthaetic values concurrent with the times. It's not only a testament to history for a country's development and cultural evolution but also serves as a material source of valuable inspiration, forming the foundation of contemporary artistic vitality.
